Sometimes being a parent can be so hard. And when your child has special needs, it can get downright exhausting. You’ve read all the parenting books, but the “solutions” just don’t seem to work with your child. Together we can determine what it is that your child is trying to communicate through challenging behavior, and work together to teach your child more appropriate behaviors.
School Consultations
General classroom management is difficult enough, but when you have one particularly disruptive child, it can bring the entire classroom to a standstill. I can conduct a functional behavior assessment that can identify and help you to understand the child’s behavior, and together we can create a behavioral intervention plan that contains strategies and interventions to help improve behavior.
BCBA Mentorship
You are trying your best and applying all of your knowledge, but there is that one client that just isn’t progressing. Another set of eyes and clinical experience may offer you potential interventions. I love to use the constructional approach and non-linear contingency analysis with my more complex clients and I’d love to teach you how to utilize these approaches as well.
